Utahraptor Sprints! (2000 / 2010)
This is a retouched screenshot of a sprinting Utahraptor, which is one of my early 3D model done for a prototype project developed for C****M at Angel Studios in the year 2000. The initial dinosaur model was art directed by Daren Bader (beautifully textured by him as well) and David Hong, and it was animated by the talented animator Jun Choi. For the retouch I mainly sharpen all the details and added a hint of red to juice the colors up a bit. It's sad that I got quite a few of cancelled projects on my belt working in the game industry so a lot of artworks I am proud of can never be published on the shelf.
